The purpose of the Top-200 Ukraina project is granting authentic, and the main thing – objective information on quality of offered educational services by Higher education institutions of Ukraine. The system by the principles is close to the international analogs and gives the chance to compare, first, among themselves HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of different profiles, and secondly — to compare them with higher educational establishments of other countries.

This technique of a rating corresponds to the international standards of ranging of universities. Results of the Top-200 Ukraina project are annually presented at the international forums and conferences on the academic ranging and achievements, such as to IREG Observatory.

By results of the Top-200 Ukraina project leaders in the sphere of the higher education in Ukraine, as before, there is a National technical university of Ukraine «Kiev polytechnical institute» (NTUU "KPI") and the Kiev national university of Taras Shevchenko. HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS show stably high indicators in all directions of the activity.

The third year in a row the rating table heads NTUU "KPI" which has received the appreciation by results of quality control of training by representatives of a domestic and foreign labor market.

According to experts, in only one corporation Microsoft now work over 500 graduates with "KPI" diplomas. So it is possible to tell with confidence that this university has the deserved international recognition.

Together with Donetsk national university, NTUU "KPI" enters into 4 % of the best universities of the world on QS World University Ranking 2011/12 rating, and also is in the lead by number of programs of double diplomas.

Among HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of Ukraine "KPI" has the highest position in global information space: it entered into 5 % of the best universities of the world on Webometrics rating.

The second place is honourable occupied the Kiev national university of Taras Shevchenko. He is a leader on quality of the faculty. It also does not have equal publications by quantity and in the naukometrichesky Scopus base.

In the five of leaders strongly took positions:

• The Kharkov national university of V. Karazin (the 3rd place);
• National university «Kiyevo-Mogilyansky academy» (the 4th place);
• National medical university of. A.Bogomoltsa (the 5th place).

It should be noted also increase of attention of universities of Ukraine to carrying out active PR and information policy. On web resources of the majority of HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of Ukraine information which is completely reflecting university life is presented.

In summary it should be noted that leading HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of Ukraine already raised requirements to culture of teaching staff, to quality of human resources. The special attention is given to research work and innovative activity of students. Universities began to be guided more by high academic standards, and also to aspire to higher rating positions.
