Monetary unit of Ukraine is the hryvnia. One hryvnia is an equivalent of hundred metal kopeks. Face values of the Ukrainian metallic currency: 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 kopeks and 1 hryvnia. Paper hryvnias happen face value 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 hryvnias.

Ukrainian sportsmen won many victories serving on the national teams of the USSR in various sports competitions.
